CitrusVol is a tool to determine the optimum spray volume rate to be applied in phytosanitary treatments in adult citrus carried out with an air-assisted hydraulic sprayer or airblast sprayer.
This tool takes into account crop characteristics (geometry and leaf density), pest/diseases and product and application efficiency.
It is based on previously obtained scientific data regarding the minimum deposit required to achieve maximum efficacy, efficiency of airblast sprayers in citrus, and characterisation of commercial orchards.
